Anvil 38 earns first ENERGY STAR certification

Anvil 38 earns its first ENERGY STAR

Iron Men Properties has announced that Anvil 38 in Lafayette has earned the EPA’s ENERGY STAR certification for superior energy performance — a 1–100 score of 96, more efficient than 96 percent of similar properties nationwide.

“From the boiler room to the board room, organizations are leading the way by making their buildings more efficient.”
Cindy Jacobs — ENERGY STAR, EPA

Certified buildings are verified to perform in the top quartile nationwide, based on:

  • Weather-normalized source energy use
  • Occupancy and hours of operation
  • Actual, verified performance — not projections
Why it matters to cities: efficiency certifications lower operating cost for decades — and Iron Men operates what it builds.
